During self-isolation, many began to experiment with their appearance: either they cut their bangs, then they lighten the strands, or they wind up their hair. By the way, about the latter - it has become a trend in TikTok, so we decided to collect the most interesting video tutorials with good results.
Curls on a scarf / sock / belt from a robe
If you are not a lover of small curls, then this method is for you. Large curls can be made using a scarf, socks, or a robe belt. To prevent curls from slipping, we advise you to choose something cotton. Divide your hair in two and fold the scarf as if it were a headband. Begin to twist the strands on the scarf on each side and fix with elastic bands at the end. You can tie your hair into a wreath for a trendy hairstyle.
Small curls on rags
This method is very simple: divide your hair into 4 sections, take a thin strand, apply mousse to it, start weaving a pigtail, adding a narrow rag instead of the third strand. Where can I get them? You can cut them from cotton or disposable cleaning tissues. And keep in mind, the thinner you take the strand, the finer the curls will be. Go to bed and unravel everything in the morning:)
Curls on a stick
Do you often order sushi? Then this method is definitely for you. Take one stick and wrap a thin curl around it. Keep in mind that, just like with other methods, you will need to first apply a styling agent to the curls. It is important that each turn of the strand on the stick is separate, and not layered on the previous ones.
Curls from harnesses
This method takes time, but no rags, sticks, etc. are needed. Apply the styling mousse to the strand and begin to twist it into a tourniquet. Then we form small snails on the head. Make sure that there is enough mousse on your hair, otherwise the curls will quickly straighten. Leave them overnight, and in the morning dissolve and comb them gently with your fingers.
This method is not suitable for very long hair, but ideal for owners of medium and short lengths. Take a thin strand of mousse and start stringing it on the hairpin in a zigzag fashion. Keep in mind that it is not easy to sleep with hairpins, so we advise you to start preparing curls early in the morning. If you don't have too much time, you can use hot tongs to walk through your hair, which is wrapped around a hairpin.
Small curls on tubes
This option, of course, cannot be called eco-friendly, but some Tik-Tok users are delighted with it. Divide your hair into sections, apply mousse to them, take a thin strand and start winding it on tubes somewhere to the middle, then take a thin elastic band, secure the strands with it and start twisting the remaining hair in the direction of the roots. How exactly to do it - watch the video!
