First of all, let's remember the structural features of the skin around the eyes: in this area it is very thin, practically devoid of the subcutaneous fat layer and sebaceous glands, therefore it is always drier than the rest of the dermis. Also, a thin stratum corneum weakly protects against ultraviolet radiation, which easily affects hyaluronic acid in cells, dries up the skin, destroys collagen and elastin fibers - this contributes to earlier aging.

One of the most important steps in skin care is cleansing the skin
- Never three skin of the eyelids and around the eye with movements "back and forth" - this contributes to its stretching and earlier appearance of wrinkles.
- Do not forget to cleanse your skin of makeup in the evening. If you do not carry out the make-up removal procedure before going to bed, then moisture will leave the skin, the “breathing” of the skin will be disturbed, so it will not rest, which will ultimately lead to early aging.
- For cleansing, use products labeled "For the skin around the eyes". Choose a texture based on your own feelings: micellar water, hydrophilic oil, gels, milk. Do not use foams to cleanse this area, as they can irritate the eyes by getting on the mucous membranes.
How to cleanse the skin around the eyes

Use a cotton pad to remove eye makeup. Fold it in half and wet it with makeup remover. Place one disk under the eyelashes on the lower eyelid, and the second disk on the upper eyelid, covering the eyelashes. Wait a couple of minutes to dissolve the eyeshadow and mascara, and then proceed to remove the makeup. Do not spare discs, change them and keep cleaning until they are clean. Then the makeup on the face is removed. After complete cleansing of the skin, it is rinsed with warm water and gently patted with a towel. Next, you can use a special eye toner and apply your own care cream.

First: choose a remedy
The skin around the eyes is the thinnest on the face, its thickness can easily be compared to a plastic bag. Any allergens and irritants easily penetrate its barrier. In addition, there is a sensitive mucous membrane of the eyes nearby. That is why the cleanser should be as gentle as possible, aggressive surfactants are unacceptable in its composition, and preservatives and fragrances can only be in a minimum concentration.
Micellar water or milk is best suited for removing makeup; they remove makeup well and do not violate the lipid barrier of the skin.

Second: cleansing movements should be performed strictly along the massage lines
Cleansers are applied and removed with movements in a specific direction: the upper eyelid - in the direction from the inner edge to the outer edge, the lower eyelid - in the direction from the outer edge to the inner edge.

Incorrect washing is absolutely definitely associated with the early appearance of wrinkles. If you overdry the skin around the eyes and constantly use alkaline products for washing, the likelihood of "crow's feet" is very high. After each such washing, the skin needs much more time to recover and nourish, because the delicate skin of the eyelids practically does not contain sebaceous glands around and the natural hydration of this area is initially minimized.

Therefore, I advise you to choose mild cleansers that do not contain harmful alkali, phthalates (enhancers), parabens (preservatives). And the washing technique should be soft, without pressure and effort.
