The new season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia was held from 19 to 23 October at the Museum of Moscow. The topic of sustainable development has become the main agenda of this season. Young talented designers presented their collections in the Museum of Moscow, as well as in showrooms of official Mercedes-Benz dealers in Yekaterinburg, Sochi and St. Petersburg. We asked Lissa Avemi to talk about the shows that she remembered at this Fashion Week.

Traditionally, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia pleases with outstanding designers and an extraordinary approach to fashion in general. The following shows were especially memorable:

ROGOV

This time, Alexander Rogov could not resist the temptation to use rich saturated colors in his collection. Scarlet, yellow, light green and powdery pink in the designer's works are harmoniously combined with beige, gray and black. Of course, it was not without the brand's favorite print - a large cage. On the catwalk, raincoats and jackets of extraordinary cut were presented in abundance, as well as various trouser suits (there were significantly fewer skirts than trousers). Lush, bright outfits in mostly warm shades create an atmosphere of comfort and remind of spring right on the runway of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia.

KISSELENKO

The new collection of the St. Petersburg brand, presented at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, almost entirely consists of black items, only occasionally there are splashes of red, white and gray. Despite the obvious severity of colors and straight cut, the presented items look modern, sophisticated and harmonious. Loose dresses, tunics and trousers are suitable for any event and will easily fit into your wardrobe. Clothes from KISSELENKO are a way to express yourself without going to extremes. The show took place at AUTODOM Pulkovo in St. Petersburg.

Sasha Gapanovich

An authentic collection from Sasha Gapanovich at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia could serve as an inspiration for a fairy tale about a distant northern city. Elements of folk costume, materials typical of northern peoples and calm but not boring shades form the basis of the entire concept of the brand this season. More often than others, green tones are found in the demonstrated clothes, which neatly complements the picture of the unity of nature and traditions.

GURVICH

This show, on the other hand, saw the dominance of bright colors and fitted silhouettes. When creating the collection, the brand used a huge number of shiny and glossy textures, as well as a variety of prints. The lining of raincoats with floral patterns deserves special mention. Satin dresses cannot be ignored either, because this means that the lingerie style will also be in trend. The GURVICH show was held at the ASMOTO MB dealership in Yekaterinburg.

ZA_ZA

Dresses from ZA_ZA turned the girls on the catwalk into flowers, the shape created by the designer is difficult to describe in any other way. The most commonly used shades are yellow, white and blue. The spring-summer 2022 collection consists almost entirely of dresses with intricate cuts, with many complex elements, but no less memorable composite images were also presented. They were complemented by creative makeup, which turned all models into magical fairies.
