The stylist of Yesdress No Stress, the inimitable Stasya Kulbatskaya, reveals a recipe for using a floral print so as not to be like the heroine of the film "Office Romance" Olga Petrovna Ryzhova, somewhat with "creepy roses".

In the warm season, all the streets literally bloom with clothes with a floral print. To be honest, I have repeatedly tried to break my dramatic style and fit into the wardrobe clothes "in a flower" - it turned out not ice, and in the summer I want flowers, what can I say. Personally, this print will forgive me utterly and turn into a village woman in three seconds, so I immediately want to tie my hair up with a scarf and set off into the fields (or surrender to the nearest farm).

If the same problem touches you, I suggest that you figure out together how to wear this print and not look like Lucy - a frivolous elementary school girl. And in general, let's talk separately about how not to hide such things in the closet in the fall and introduce a little "romanticism" into the images when you want it.

As a rule, if ladies put on a floral dress, their hands reach out to stiletto heels, beads (be-ee), a curling iron (to curl romantic curls) and bright lipstick. It is this stereotypical representation of romance and deliberate femininity that often adds unnecessary girlishness and simplicity. Let's think about how to turn it into a fashionista, taking into account the fact that we are not in the fields and not on the southern coast. Are you ready? Go!

Add things with a rough texture to the colors - the images look more interesting in contrast. In the fall, we will wear a dress with boots, cardigans, chunky knit sweaters, oversized jackets (with the addition of a belt, of course), leather jackets and boots.

Italians combine this with bare legs, but you and I will add tight tights without a twinge of conscience and will not ruin anything.

The easiest way to calm down a floral print is to wear it with solid colors. You can take something classic, light, or you can play with nuances. To do this, you need to take the most rarely repeated color from the print and bring it to a large area.

Combine floristic clothing with trendy pieces for a edgy, funky look. A voluminous denim jacket, a bomber jacket, bags with a wide belt, large glasses, if you want, a belt bag (personally, I am a little tired of it, and it cannot be called a universal thing - it is not suitable for everyone) will help.

It is better not to add a straw bag in the city - you yourself understand, again you will "fall" into country style and pastoral.

Floral print plus denim is also a technique from the “Make and Wear” series: almost a win-win, tested by more than one fashionist.

Combine floral print with each other or with geometry. The trick is complicated, because with all the difference in prints, something must unite them (the same color or size of the picture, for example). But you need to experiment, otherwise you will not understand how it works.
