"American Beauty / American Psycho" is the sixth Native Illinois LP. The songs were inspired by the numerous collaborations that have developed during the work on the previous disc "Save Rock And Roll" (2013). Then the group was supported by Elton John, Courtney Love, Big Sean and Foxes. In between concerts with the Paramore group, Fall Out Boy was born with a vision of new material, Fall Out Boy musicians Pete Wentz, Joe Troman, Patrick Stump and Andy Hurley captured sketches in laptops, and the final assembly was done by producer Jake Sinclair. And now there were no star guests - everything was only on their own.

American Beauty / American Psycho is an album at the intersection of styles, reflecting many influences and sources of inspiration, from punk rock to pop hits, from Motley Crue to Suzanne Vega. "Someone will like this album, someone will hate it, - said Patrick Stump, - we four like it, that's enough to feel happy."

Fall Out Boy's "American Beauty / American Psycho" debuted at # 1 on the Billboard charts and debuted at # 1 on the Billboard charts and sold out in the first week. With a circulation of 218,000 copies, this is Fall Out Boy's third album to reach the top of the US main charts, and will now be shown in Russia.

Fall Out Boy hails from Wilmett, a suburb of Chicago. The provincial boys Joe Truman and Pete Wentz became friends on the basis of the same musical preferences, and, moreover, rather peculiar ones. On the one hand, they were crazy about the reactive punk rockers Green Day, on the other, they shared the decadent British philosophies of Joy Division and The Smiths. Having mastered the guitar and bass, Joe and Pete began to look for like-minded people. Peter Stump sat on the drums, who unexpectedly also showed serious vocal abilities. Soon he stood at the microphone. During the second concert of the unnamed group, the musicians decided to entrust his choice to the audience. The proposed name "Fallout boy" from the audience is the name of one of the minor characters in the animated series "The Simpsons".
