We have already written that designer Diana von Fürstenberg will become the star of her own reality television House of DVF, where eight girls will compete for the title of international ambassador of the Diana brand. We watched the first episode of the show yesterday on channel E! And immediately called Fürstenberg herself for details.

How did you come up with the idea of creating the Diana von Fürstenberg House program?
I thought it would be a fun way to interact with the new generation and it is truly a wonderful experience! The essence of the program is to convey interesting ideas to young women, and I see that my efforts are not in vain.
Tell us about your peers in the program: who helps you make decisions?
First of all, the creative director of the DVF brand Stephanie Greenfield, who devotes a lot of time to girls, as well as fashion expert Jessica Joffe. They will be shown more often than others, although my whole team is involved in the project.
Could you imagine yourself doing a show like this when you were younger? How would you impress the judges?
This is interesting … I see myself pulling my dresses out of a suitcase and talking about the amazing knitwear I found in Italy.
Working in the fashion industry is not easy. How does it feel to work with you?
Undoubtedly, it is difficult, but at the same time very interesting. Of course, there is a lot of work to be done, but still you should not take yourself too seriously. I've always said that you can be both serious and casual at the same time, and this is exactly what my program teaches.
What should an applicant for a job in your company know?
You should always remember that there are no insignificant details in the fashion industry, and every girl who participates in our show knows: she came here to work and work again.
Can you be moved by tears or pleas?
I don't like it when people cry, but I always sympathize with our participants and do my best to support them in a difficult situation and teach them something.
Could you overcome your personal animosity towards someone if you see talent in that person?
It's good, of course, when a person is nice, but there are still less talented people, so I usually put up with personal dislike, if any.
What would you never put up with?
Perhaps with disrespect.
Describe your dream colleague
Creative, fun, hardworking, passionate, motivated. By the way, I am very lucky - many people with whom I work have all these qualities!
By the way, have you heard about the opening of your new DVF corner in TSUM? You have a lot of female fans in Russia. Say hello to them?
Of course! Thank you! Love is life!
