We decided to conduct an experiment: a make-up artist painted up our colleague Victoria with funds for a total of 40,000 rubles, and then made a similar make-up with the help of more budgetary cosmetics. How tangible is the difference in what you can save on, and where is greed inappropriate?

Immediately after application, I did not feel the difference between the cushion: both lay flat, felt equally comfortable, the skin looked great. But the Dior cushion lasted all day, and its more affordable brother required some correction in a couple of hours. In addition, the Dior cushion contains a sun protection factor, which is important for me personally. As for the concealer, I liked NYX better both in terms of comfort and effectiveness. It was more difficult with bronzing powders: I liked bourjois more in terms of shade, and La Mer in terms of the glow effect and durability.

In fact, my eyebrows grow very unevenly, so I understand that in both photos they look imperfect. But in my opinion, the Rimmel pencil did a better job: the shade is more natural, there is no reddish undertone. As for the eyeliner, there is no equal to Tom Ford, I am absolutely delighted with it. I will say the same about the shadows: they fit perfectly, are easily shaded and do not roll. My vote is for Tom!
What was used for lip makeup?

The shades are almost identical, the pigment saturation is also. But Givenchy lipstick, in addition to the direct decorative function, intensively moisturized the lips, and for me this is very important, usually lipstick dries them, and I wash it because of discomfort. If you don't have such a problem, I can safely say, take what you can afford.
Output
Yes, premium cosmetics are generally more comfortable, pleasant and multifunctional than the mass market, and, of course, if you can afford to buy it, you will definitely win. But if we compare a purely visual impression, then with the help of budgetary funds you can create an identical image and look fashionable, bright and stylish, saving more than one thousand rubles!
