We are accustomed to the fact that stars hide their imperfections: wrinkles, folds, stretch marks, irregularities … It's good that in the 21st century we have finally begun to rethink the standards of beauty and are learning to be honest with ourselves and the world. No one is in perfect shape after giving birth - and that's okay.

Will you believe that I weigh 72.5 kg with a height of 161 cm? Based on my usual "standards", I am obese. I know I'm not at my normal weight since my second child, but - damn it! - I don't feel any obesity. The only thing I feel is that I feel myself. Don't be equal to the standards, ladies!

I don't have anorexia, it's a thyroid problem. I lost weight, but did not think that something was wrong with me. Last Friday, I got a swelling on my neck and went to the doctor. I'm still waiting for a blood test, but the doctor thinks it's Graves' disease. If you have just had a baby and you have lost a lot of weight, suddenly there is a heat intolerance, you are losing hair and you are sure that your husband is a goat, it could be your thyroid gland. Check back as soon as possible.

I'm usually not one of those who upload pictures of my body, but the more postpartum pictures I see with you, the more opportunities I see to convey my message to young mothers. For 4 days after giving birth, I look like I'm still pregnant, but I feel like a supermodel and a warrior woman.
The fact that our bodies are able to bear and give birth to children is a miracle, I have always been fascinated by the very nature of this phenomenon. The fourth trimester is not a joke, you need to understand that when a child is born, a woman's path does not end. She still has a lot of healing to do, physically and mentally, and she's on a roller coaster all the time because of hormones and lack of sleep. Not to mention the contraction of the uterus. It's like you are giving birth over and over again.
We and society must accept the beauty of the postpartum body and not expect the new mother to simply - once! - and will return to normal, as if her body did not go through this battle. You need to feel beautiful and bold regardless of stretch marks, excess weight and everything else.
You are cool, your body is amazing - you are beautiful!

The same me, a couple of new stories.

5 weeks. Hospital linen for life!

7 weeks postpartum. Some pregnant women by this time no longer have a belly, while for others it takes longer. I belong to the second. I remember how after giving birth to Cree, my belly did not become flat immediately. I had a cesarean section and thought there was something wrong with me. I have seen in magazines many women on the beach who gave birth a few weeks ago. It took me a while to accept my body. During my second pregnancy, I suddenly realized: a person lives in me! Miracle. Another life. If I need time to return to my self, I will give myself that time. It's me. And I love myself.

And here I am and my roundness after the birth of the child! 6 weeks and 4 days after an urgent cesarean. I was banned from any activity for at least 6 weeks. Exercise has become an important part of my life over the past 10 years and it has been difficult psychologically for me. However, good training includes long-term recovery.
Today I was given permission to start light exercise. I can do 30 minute stroller walks, glute bridges, and pelvic floor exercises.

Although this week has been full of cuddling with a newborn and moments of my heart skipping a beat, it's still very difficult. With Amber and Bode, I had great pregnancies and childbirth, but as soon as the fourth trimester arrived, my body gave back. Fortunately, past experiences have helped me fight mastitis, which, like last time, started five days after giving birth.
