Skate and dance! The largest festivals in spring 2019

For those wishing to spend a few days on the ski slopes in an atmosphere of sports and music, this spring prepares a large selection of cool events. We present the main festivals of the year with a wide variety of entertainment programs. It is especially pleasant that some of them will be held in Russia - after all, our country also has good ski slopes, tested by the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Tomorrowland Winter, Alpe d'Huez, France

9 - 16 March

The cult festival of electronic music this year will be held for the fifteenth time and in honor of the anniversary it will appear not only in the traditional summer, but also in the new winter version. Winter will come for the first time in this fantastic land of musical wonders - but the atmosphere will still be hot. The scenes will be set right along the ski slopes, and you can get to them only with the help of the ski lift. Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Steve Aoki, Nervo and many others are scheduled for the evening.

BoogelWoogel, Rosa Khutor resort, Sochi

March 13-17

The Alpine Carnival this year will delight all its guests with an updated entertainment program. Any participant will find something to their liking: jump into the pool on skis and snowboards in carnival costumes, compete for the title of "Miss BoogelWoogel", play beach volleyball on the snow. You can also write yourself down in history and take part in setting the Guinness World Record for the most massive swimsuit descent. All daytime entertainment will be complemented by parties and performances by popular Russian artists.

Snowboxx, Avoriaz, France

Avoriaz is a prestigious ski resort in the French Alps, which will host one of the most diverse and vibrant spring festivals. Everyone who comes to Snowboxx will not only be able to listen to the best musicians and go skiing and snowboarding, but also go down the mountain in a zorb, take part in snow battles, sing karaoke or choose any other activity they like from the extensive program. Headliners this year will be Fatboy Slim, Stormzy, Chase & Status, Basement Jaxx, 2 Many DJs, Grand Master Flash and many more.

Quiksilver New Star Camp, Rosa Khutor Resort Sochi

March 29-April 7

One of the largest sports and music festivals, Quiksilver New Star Camp, will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2019! For 9 years, New Star has collaborated with artists, artists, lit new sports stars, and this year will not be an exception. The main theme of the anniversary year is collaborations with leading representatives of Russian subcultures and musical associations. All guests will find a large-scale ten-day program: snowboarding and skiing, competitions among professionals and amateurs in a specially built snow park at an altitude of 1600 m, yoga, lectures, parties and concerts by popular Russian and foreign artists, master classes from leading athletes and representatives of the action sports industry. The headliner in the anniversary year will be the Rudimental group, which will perform in Sochi with a live show. Chamonix Unlimited Festival, Chamonix, France

April 2-7

The famous French resort of Chamonix already attracts skiers from all over the world. It was on these slopes that the first ever Winter Olympic Games were once held, and now a ski and music festival will unfold here with concerts from leading electronic and techno musicians: Amelie Lens, Laurent Garnier, Palm Trax and other stars. Snowbombing, Mayrhofen, Austria

April 8-13

Another landmark event for those who love skiing on the slopes as much as music is the Snowbombing Festival. He also celebrates a round date - twenty years. From 8 to 13 April, in the Austrian ski resort of Mayrhofen, guests will find a carnival car rally, street masquerade, dancing on an ice dance floor, numerous parties and concerts, and an extensive sports program. Festival headliners: The Prodigy, Stormzy, Groove Amanda, Andy C and others.

Sun & Snow Festival, Sierra Nevada, Spain

April 18 - 20

Sun & Snow Festival is a mix of adrenaline, sports and music. The largest winter sports and music event in the Iberian Peninsula will take place against the backdrop of the mesmerizing peaks of the Sierra Nevada next to one of the largest national parks in Spain. Festival guests can go skiing or snowboarding, paragliding, trekking, snowmobiling or relaxing at the spa.
